With the weather being so cold, we don't get out of the house as much as I would like. I was looking around for different things for us to do, and came upon the library's website. I was excited to see that every Monday at our local library they have "Baby Storytime". The timing was a little off, because it scheduled right in the middle of Karter's nap time, but I thought we would try it out anyway.

The class is for babies 0-24 months, but Karter was definitely the youngest one there. We sang a lot of songs, played some games and read a couple of books together. I think his favorite part was the last 20 min of playtime and he was able to play with toys he hadn't seen before! He started to get a little cranky in the middle of the class, but after he got his pacifier he was much better. I was glad he had it when it came to playtime, otherwise every toy would have been in his mouth. This was really his first time being around a group of other kids, and he did great. He enjoyed watching the older kids and then trying to do what they did! We will definitely be going back!

He must have thought he hit the jackpot with all the new stuff to explore!
