Karter's 4th Birthday Party

Somehow, on June 16th our precious Karterman turned four!!  His actual birthday fell on a Saturday, and he thoroughly enjoyed his day of celebration!!

Karter is in love with race cars, so planning a race car party was a no brainer!

I made a lot of decorations for our outdoor bbq, but the windy weather didn't quite cooperate with my plan!

A racing party is not complete without a racetrack!

Karter is quite the party planner and made sure that the event flowed smoothly...especially when it was time for presents!

We got our 4 year old a new bicycle!

After all the presents were open, the party moved to the driveway so Karter could try out his new bike.

While everyone else was in the driveway, Jonah stayed at the house with me...you know, to help set up the cake....or to make sure he didn't miss out on any tastes!

The boys are so used to me making cookies and cakes for other people, and Karter was so excited his birthday week that everything was for him!  In his sweetest voice, he kept telling Kaden he couldn't have any cookies yet because they were for his party.

Karter had a great idea that him and Jonah could share the big cake...and have a cupcake!

Someone LOVED being the center of attention!

The pesky wind blew out the candles before we were finished singing!

Karter was a good sport and posed for his picture anyway!

But loved it when Gramaw suggested we go inside...and sing again!!

Karter was involved in a lot of his party decisions, and one day while shopping for supplies, he insisted that he have ice cream sundaes at his party!  Who am I to argue with the birthday boy...even though he didn't actually eat any ice cream!

Even though Karter's plan was for him and Jonah to share the big cake, don't think little brother was going to be left out of all that icing!!

Or little cousin, Olivia!!

Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate our special little man!!

Karter, you are such an amazing little boy and we couldn't be more proud to be your parents!  We love you, Karterman!!!
