First Day of Preschool

This morning we sent our Karterman off to his first day of preschool.  Even with two babies on the way, I'm not quite sure how our precious boy got to be so big already!!

We didn't have to buy any school supplies, he just needed a backpack.  I was all set to go buy him a new one, but he insisted that he use one that he has had since his second birthday....he is definitely like his daddy!

Karter is incredibly smart, talkative, loving and an all around amazing boy!  He is such a joy and always keeps us on our toes.  I pray that as he starts his school career that God will continue to guide his path and be with him as teachers and other children start to be an influence on his life.

His school is at a local church in Middletown, twice a week for two hours each day.  I was very proud as he marched right into school (found his buddy Drew) and headed off without even looking back!  When I picked him up, he excitedly told Kaden and I about his morning and said he couldn't wait to go back on Thursday.  He couldn't remember everything he did in order, but the highlight of his morning was drinking out of a water fountain!!

That is so great he loved his first day! Some things are too important to let go of...like an Elmo backpack :)
