First Trip to the Zoo

Friday, Karter and I went to the zoo with Julie and Henry. It was both of the boys first trip to the zoo, and I think they both had a lot of fun! Karter loves to people watch, so he enjoyed watching all the other kids run around.

The reason we went to the zoo this early into the season was the see the Farm Babies. It is a popular thing for people to do, and will only be at the zoo until next weekend. It got a little crazy back at the farm, because there were A LOT of strollers and some overbearing parents who thought that their children deserved to see the baby animals over ours.

Kristoffer and I love the Tropics exhibit at the zoo, because of the Lemurs. They are a lot of fun to watch. While we were there last week, they kept walking the tight rope and swinging from branch to branch. Karter thought they were funny to watch and started laughing at them!

What is he staring so intently at?

A shark! Karter's favorite part was the giant aquarium with all of the beautiful fish. He stared and "talked" to all of the fish for about 20 minutes. It was so cute to watch him as he studied the fish!

It was a fun morning at the zoo, and we can't wait to go again. We got a membership while we were there, so I think we will be going to the zoo quite often this summer!
