Karter's First Easter

Yesterday, we had a fun day celebrating Karter's first Easter. Our morning started very early and was super busy. Our youth group was in charge of the Sunrise Service and pancake breakfast. We left our house around 5:30am to get to the church on time. My hunky husband gave the message during the service (he did a fabulous job!), while I got everything ready for breakfast. After serving and cleaning up breakfast, we stayed for the 9 o'clock service. Poor little Karter, he was such a trooper, but was overly tired by the time the service was over!

Luckily, we didn't have Sunday School or Youth Group, and Karter could come home a take a nice long nap! After he woke up, he discovered that the Easter Bunny had come to our house! He had to take each item out of his basket and chew on them!

He looks pretty excited that he got 2 new sippy cups! It was a great day with my boys, celebrating our risen Lord!
