On Saturday we hosted a cookout with our friends, Mark & Katie and Nick & Ali and their son Henry. It was great to have everyone over, and a lot of fun to watch the two boys to play. Karter and Henry had to check each other out at first, but they quickly warmed up to each other!
After lunch, we decided to load up the wagon and take a walk down to the park.
It was cute to watch them swing together. This was Henry's first time on a swing, and after awhile he warmed up to and was having a good time!
Henry and Karter took a little time out of their swinging time to pose for a picture on the slide. And of course...they didn't want to look at the camera!
After our walk, we came back inside for a little homemade ice cream. Then it was time for the boys to show each other a few things. Karter showed Henry all the cool spots on his books...
...and Henry showed Karter how to push to buttons on the TV!It was a wonderful afternoon with our friends and hope we can all get together again. Good Luck with your move back to Indiana, Nick & Ali!!
