Despite the snow and rain all week, the sun actually made an appearance this weekend and we weren't about to let this rare opportunity pass us by. On Saturday we bundled up (I said the sun was out, not that it was warm!) and headed to
Nerstrand-Big Woods State Park which is about 30 minutes south of our house.
We spent a couple of hours hiking following our fearless leader!
It was so nice to be out in the fresh air.
About half way through, mama had to stop for a little rest...the baby didn't really like all the hiking!
Fall is our favorite season, and we couldn't of asked for a more perfect day to spend together!

Dana, you're such a trooper! When I was pregnant, I was a big wuss...guess I still am! Days like that are going to be hard to come by in the coming months...
