Date Night!

On Saturday night we hired our favorite babysitter, Martha, so Kristoffer and I could go out on the town! Our evening started out with a quiet dinner at P.F. Chang's. It was quite a change to be able to have a real conversation with each other and not have to share our meals with anyone else!

The whole evening was part of Kristoffer's birthday present, so he was in charge of deciding what we did. We both wanted the evening to be something that we couldn't normally do with a 1-year old! After dinner Kristoffer decided he wanted to go putt-putting, so we went to the MOA where they have a really nice indoor course. Putt-putting is definitely something we couldn't have done with Karterman running around!

Of course we couldn't just play for fun, everything has to be a competition, the stakes were high too...the loser had to buy ice cream!! It was a close competition, but in the end Kristoffer won by one stroke.

Along the way things got a little backed up, so I decided to chop a little wood while I waited.

Then it was Kristoffer's job to haul it up the mountain!!

After our round of golf and walking a lap around the mall, we heading back to Martha's house to pick up Karter. We thought Karter would be asleep when we got there, but instead he was running around like a crazy man. She said she didn't, but it seemed like Martha had fed him nothing but sugar while we were gone!! It didn't matter, as soon as he was in the car he was out. We all had an amazing evening, and hopefully Kristoffer and I can do this again before baby K gets here in January!!
